seattle was a sight of perfection this past saturday when me and my sorors took on the challenge nation seattle challenge. we came, we saw, we conquered – sort of. okay the truth is we came in 164 out of 280 something. not stellar but boy did we have fun and we looked super cute doing it. what can i say, we make life look good!
we joined thousands of people on a 5k scavenger hunt around the downtown area of seattle. we raced from the stadiums in sodo to the waterfront piers to the pike place market and back down through pioneer square and back to the stadium.
despite the stiff competition we found time to laugh, make friends, shop and of course hunt down every clue on our list! it was a great way to spend a beautiful saturday afternoon and a wonderful send off for our dear friend ericka who is starting a new exciting journey in another state. thankfully it’s just two states down and they have plenty of sun year round!
